As part of my internship work developing the graphic materials for the Shore Line Trolley Museum & TheĀ Branford Electric Railway Association, a Brand Guide was made to explain how every visual element including typography and color worked. Since the museum never had a consistent brand identity, this Brand Guide provides the standards for the brand going forward for the museum director to be aware of and will provide guidance to the next Graphic Designer going forward. For each logo page, there is a color pallet that specifies each color and the various color codes regarding how the variations of display (print or digital). Additional information such as typeface specifications for the use of titles and descriptions are also included. The Brand Guide contains eight pages (not including the introduction page):
Page 2 - Rules for Logo
Page 3 - Typography
Page 4 - Color Pallette
Page 5 - Logo Variations
Page 6 - Main Logo
Page 7 - Secondary Logo
Page 9 - Website Orientation
The Brand Guide was created entirely in Adobe InDesign. The elements for these brand updates will go into effect in the near future.
