I decided as part of redesigning the brand identity of The Shore Line Trolley Museum, I offered to redesign the logos of The Shore Line Trolley Museum and its subsidiary company The Branford Electric Railway Association.
There isn’t a specific size for each logo as that can vary depending on what they’re put onto ranging from physical documents to clothing. Up to five logos were selected between myself and the Museum’s Director.
Main Logo (TOP LEFT):
This logo was selected as one of the potential upgrades for the new logo.
The typeface elements stayed the same while a miniature icon of the Musuem’s flagship trolley No. 775 is placed with the Branford Electric Railway Association placed above it.
Subsidiary Logo (BOTTOM MIDDLE):
This logo was selected as one of the potential upgrades for the B.E.R.A.’s new logo.
I offered to put forth a new logo because the current logo I found needed a serious facelift.
The look of this logo while just one color takes inspiration from the styles and the minimalist look of various logos of several American Railroads (particularly the Canadian National, Central Vermont Railroad, and the Grand Trunk & Western Logo).
The logos were created in Adobe Illustrator.
