Visual Speech Animation

By focusing on the visual impact of character dialogue and audio effects rather than the character actions, the emotions and personalities are animated.

This project uses the dialogue from a scene from the British television series Thunderbirds (1965), the dialogue then moves along with the tone of the audio. Furthermore, tailoring the background color for each character allows the audience to identify who is speaking. 

Storyboard:

Before any animation work could begin, a storyboard sequentially illustrating the movement of each word from how they come into the frame before disappearing again and moving onto the next frame is illustrated. Please note that this storyboard doesn’t include all sequences of the final animation, it is strictly illustrative.
