This project required the creation of a unique shape. While there is no specificity as to what this shape is supposed to resemble, its odd build provides the ability for the viewer to create almost a million possibilities as to what this piece could be. This "Tooth" takes some inspiration from naturalistic creations such as icicles and cave stalagmites and stalactites, while borrowing the structural vigor of man-made architectural structures.Â
Made out of Insulation Foam Boards, cut into circular pieces and placed on top of each other and glued using carpenter glue with wooden skewers cut to length to provide structural integrity.
After assembly, the piece was then smoothed until the surface was consistent, a white paint was applied.
